Docking in Hudson’s Bay

In September 2017 the day was finally there: Hudson’s Bay opens their doors! Will this new retail chain make us forget V&D? What will be the distance to the Bijenkorf and will the Dutch consumer be ready for this Canadian company? We too are curious to see. The first promotions, both in terms of recruitment and products, are looking good and show us that Hudson’s Bay will quickly make the conservative V&D a relic of the past.

Hudson’s Bay also gives a good message to the “Dutch” consumer by promoting young, relatively unknown designers, who have specially developed articles for this new department store on the Dutch market. The content itself is also Dutch, young, fresh, direct and with humor.
